![]() #ARTRAGE ARTWORK SOFTWARE#I wouldn't look at the types of art people create with art software to judge the software itself because that is ultimately irrelevant to its capabilities. I've used a lot of different kinds of art programs and I know that if you get to know your way around any tool, you can make it do what you want it to. I don't get the painterly style with it that I get from artrage but I use it for quick stuff, and its intentionally unrealistic brush engine makes it easy to do things that would never be possible on paper. Inkfish also features something similar.įrom what I gather, ArtRage is a fun program for when I need fewer brushes with more functionality than my other software, but Black Ink is great for digital art and concepts. You should look into Mischief if you find that to be interesting. The "endless zoom" sort of thing it had was pretty much it's main standout feature it at for me. and honestly it didn't feel much different from most other programs out there. Originally posted by DarnHyena:Looking at your artstyle, I do think Artrage might be more your style. PS: I am also going to post this thread in Black Ink's Community Hub, to get their opinion. The last art that I made is an OC (original character) of a "pegasister" friend of mine which I did last Christmas. Heck I can even say that I am yet to utilize my copy of SAI enough to get my money's worth. So, what do you think? If ever I do get, should I get Art Rage or Black Ink? And if it helps you guys make a suggestion to me, take a look at my deviantart page at so you can have a basis of which software I should get based on the art that I create. And since I cannot afford Photoshop, I got myself a licensed Paint Tool SAI instead and its great, except no filters and no typing letters of any sort among others. I actually cannot say that I have made any sort of psychologically deep surrealistic art except maybe for my icon/avatar in my deviantart page. Which is actually what I am inclined to make. Now, when I look at Art Rage's artwork section in its Community Hub, I see more commercial-type artwork. Like melting clocks and such and screaming melting or melted-looking people if you know what I mean. I've looked at both software's Steam Community Hub's Artwork sections and I must say, though I am intrugied by Black Ink's GPU utilization, when I see the artworks posted in its Community Hub.I have a feeling that Black Ink is inclined more for surrealism of the "Boy George / Sweet Dreams are Made of These" kind. ![]()

Some of its flashier executions depend on being very familiar with your surrounding environment, but Aiden’s leaping, grappling, and running have a lot more range than the first-person view conveys. The parkour in Dying Light 2 is much more fluid and confident than the system its 2015 predecessor introduced. ![]() I appreciated how my focus on counterattack moves was rewarded, but only after nudging me into a different mindset first. But a perk on your combat tree allows you to stagger a foe by dodging their attack with perfect timing. Then, naturally, you run into heavies who have strikes that can’t be blocked. For example, from your first fight, you can block standard strikes with perfect timing to stagger an opponent. Dying Light 2’s combat and traversal are supplemented by two perk trees with choices that really extended my capabilities. Usually, you’ll end up dead, with a lot of your health consumables and other buffs wasted.īut it didn’t take much for me to develop a workable two- or three-move melee pattern and then add more tactics, and tactical devices, as I got more confident, both with my surroundings and with my adversaries. Spamming strikes or laying back to counterattack everything will, at best, drag out a garden-variety scrum into a skin-of-your-teeth escape. With a smartly balanced fatigue meter governing attacks and movements, Dying Light 2 makes me think about, and use, all the tactics available to me, especially in boss and sub-boss fights. The melee combat, dealing mainly with improvised blade weapons, is intense and satisfying. ![]() If that’s how Dying Light 2’s story is going to roll, then at least all the fighting and jumping and climbing is fun for its own sake. Choices do matter in Dying Light 2, some of them more cosmetically, perhaps but all the struggles, the fighting, the puzzle-solving are moot when a fearsome adversary decides to forget whatever was bothering him and help you. Still, Dying Light 2 expects a lot of its players’ time, and that investment is too often repaid in scenes that are resolved with expository dialogue that stands preceding developments on their head. As slow as the going is in the first half of Dying Light 2’s central story branch, the unlocking of new combat tactics or parkour techniques unfolds even more slowly unless you’re also constantly looting zombie hives in the unstructured nighttime gameplay loop. In fact, the extra side quests and in-world events deliver a lot of the loot and XP that helps your character’s progression keep within hollering distance of the story. Instead, Dying Light 2’s story feels more like a rough draft that the player must finish with a lot of side activities.įor those who come in as fans of the original Dying Light, especially for its hard-hitting melee combat and fleet-footed free-running moves, this profusion of extra missions may not feel like much obligation. At least, it might have if the game’s ambiguity felt more intentional. Used well, this kind of vexing indecision could have elevated Dying Light 2’s color-by-numbers narrative into something with a bigger emotional payoff. So here I was again in Dying Light 2, putting in a lot of extra work - against a timer, no less - to care about characters and situations that aren’t central to the story. Taking people at face value in this game had already earned me some legitimately angering betrayals. In an instant, I went from a desultory side quest to making a decision with huge stakes. As I was parkouring back to the sick bay, the game gave me a strange update: “Choose which medicine to give him.” Wait, why wouldn’t I give him the correct dose? Only then did it occur to me that the blind witch might have been lying, intending for me to poison him as revenge for what his faction did to her. Zombies only mildly inconvenienced me as I snatched up the item. She provides the player character, Aiden, with specific instructions on what to gather, when to gather it, and what parts to administer to the dying man. ![]() But seeing as how this version of the zombie apocalypse has - quite convincingly - turned the fictional European city of Villedor into a Middle Age society, the only remedy is folk medicine from a blind witch. Right now, an ally is gravely wounded and needs medicine urgently. You’re a stranger in a strange land, searching for a lost loved one and finding yourself pivotal to a dying city’s fight for survival. It unfolds like a bog-standard fetch quest. Midway through Dying Light 2 Stay Human, I took a side mission that, in hindsight, neatly summarized the strange pacing and unmet ambitions of its larger story - a story that often struggles to match the compelling gameplay and richly detailed world that developer Techland has created. ![]() ![]() ![]() Healthspan Elite CEO, Martin Talbot, said: “After becoming the All Blacks’ first sports nutrition partner two years ago and launching a co-branded range at the beginning of 2022, Healthspan Elite are incredibly excited to be the naming rights partner for the Northern tour. The cummerbund is from Tom Ford, and the other items are also likely to be from Tom Ford. With the dinner suit he wears a black thistle-shaped bow tie, a black cummerbund and a square-folded white cotton pocket square. ![]() A marcella shirt was probably chosen over a pleated shirt because pleats will not stay crisp in water. The body of the shirt is likely cotton poplin, and it has rear darts for a trimmer fit. Though marcella shirts typically fasten with studs down the front, this shirt fastens with buttons, likely because studs would not be as reliable underwater. On the other hand, swimming in a suit with a restrictive fit must be even more difficult than swimming in a well-fitted suit.ĭaniel Craig’s white dress shirt has a cotton marcella semi-spread collar, a cotton marcella bib with a French front and square cotton marcella double cuffs with round double-sided cufflinks. With less cloth a suit will not feel as heavy in the water, though it will only feel marginally lighter than a more traditionally fitted suit. A very close fit throughout will prevent the suit from looking baggy in the water, which is how a normally well-fitted suit may look in the water. The idea of well-draped tailoring is irrelevant when swimming because a suit cannot drape properly when submerged underwater. When swimming in a suit, a tight fit has a few benefits. The rest of the details of the fit are difficult to determine underwater. The suit has the tight fit we have come to expect from Daniel Craig’s Bond, which is most noticeable with a chest that pulls open. The trousers have a flat front, side-adjusters and a satin stripe down the side of each leg. There are double vents in the rear, a more classic style than the single-vented dinner jackets that Daniel Craig wore in the last two films. The hip pockets are jetted and the breast pocket is Tom Ford’s typical barchetta-shaped welt. He leaves the last cuff button open, which allows the cuff to flap around in the water. The cuffs have satin silk gauntlet cuffs and likely five cuff buttons in the standard Tom Ford fashion. The shoulders are straight with light structure and have roped sleeve heads. The single-breasted dinner jacket has one button at the waist and medium-width satin-silk-faced peaked lapels. Though the colours in this image are not true to life, the dinner suit appears to be midnight blue and likely is midnight blue. If Tom Ford is providing dinner suits for Daniel Craig as James Bond, they will likely be continuing through Bond 25.ĭaniel Craig’s Tom Ford dinner suit is very classic in its style. The dinner suit for this shoot-most certainly along with a number of duplicates-was most likely provided for free, since I believe it is unlikely Omega would pay thousands of dollars to ruin Tom Ford suits when they could ruin less costly suits. Seeing Daniel Craig in a Tom Ford dinner suit in this campaign likely signifies Tom Ford’s return in Bond 25. This past weekend on 22 September 2018 Omega released a video component to their campagin for the new line of watches. It’s famously part of a James Bond actor’s contract that they are not allowed to wear black tie outside of the role, which goes back to Pierce Brosnan.
